Wilmer

Wilmer joined the Micah Project in July 2007.   Our street team found him living underneath one of the bridges in downtown Tegucigalpa with a group of street kids and youth.  Wilmer had a severe addiction to yellow glue, and in his first year in the Project, he left our home several times to go back to the streets.  But slowly, Wilmer began to leave street life behind him.  Since 2008, Wilmer has been incredibly stable, and growing day-by-day!  He graduated from the sixth grade in 2011 and continues to work hard on his studies in 2012.

October 2007:  Wilmer returns to the Micah Project after having left to go back to the streets.  Our street ministry coordinator Dan Paul is very happy to have him back!

January 2008:  Wilmer prepares to begin first grade in our home-schooling program.
