Wilmer |

|
Wilmer joined the Micah Project in July 2007. Our street team found him living underneath one of the bridges in downtown Tegucigalpa with a group of street kids and youth. Wilmer had a severe addiction to yellow glue, and in his first year in the Project, he left our home several times to go back to the streets. But slowly, Wilmer began to leave street life behind him. In 2008, Wilmer made great strides. He learned how to read and write, and was able to get through grades 1 and 2 in our home schooling program. He began to mature in a thoughtful and dependable young man, and a beloved member of our family! | October 2007: Wilmer returns to the Micah Project after having left to go back to the streets. Our street ministry coordinator Dan Paul is very happy to have him back! |

| January 2008: Wilmer prepares to begin first grade in our home-schooling program. |
