Micah Project Scholarship Fund

Five of our young men graduated from high school in November, 2004 and four others graduated in November, 2005!   Three of the first graduating class, Marvin, Olvin and Tino, have begun their freshman year at Missouri Baptist University in St. Louis, Missouri.  One of the others, David, is starting classes at the Universidad Latina in San Jose, Costa Rica, in January 2006.  Jarvin has been taking classes at the Catholic University of Honduras.  Even as these five young men start their college studies, for others--Miguel, Danilo, Oscar and Edwin--are planning their college careers!

The Micah Project  launched a college scholarship fund for its participants in 2001 to help support them in the institution of higher learning that best fits their needs.  We chose our first recipient of the fund in 2002, Darwin Pavon of Villa Linda Miller.  In 2006, ten young men will take advantage of our scholarship fund to prepare for a future of servant leadership here in Honduras.  Click on the links below to see how you can support them in this effort!
