June 2006 Photo Album
In June, Jose, Jerson, Pedro and Marvin produced their first album, called "Dificil de Olvidar", or "Hard to Forget." They used a small studio in Tegucigalpa to professionally produce eleven songs. Their CD was a product of months of writing, setting their lyrics to music, and practicing. In reality, however, this incredible album is a product of a lifetime; each of the songs powerfully describes how God brought them out of a dark past and into the brilliant light of a hope-filled future. |

"Los Micah Boys" got a chance to debut their album in a powerful way! They were the featured singers in an event called "United for Children" in the central plaza of Tegucigalpa. They sang on a Saturday before hundreds of people who stopped their weekend shopping in the bustling central square to listen to their powerful message. Here, Pedro and Marvin sing "Trap Him". | Cristino tries to talk a street kid into giving up his bottle of yellow glue. This child, like so many street kids, remains high most of the day by inhaling this toxic substance. Cristino, while on summer break from Missouri Baptist University, has been coordinating our weekly street kids ministry. |

The team held a week-long medical clinic at the community center in Villa Linda Miller. Here, Jerson draws blood from a young girl to check for anemia. Here, Arle, Erick, Daniel and Auner dig out the foundation. The youth group from the Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church will come in July to finish the house. |

Speaking of which, the chocolate lab puppy was adopted by Becca and Jessica, who named him "Mochachino". |
