Hauner

Hauner (pronouned ow-nair) and his older brother Oscar moved to Tegucigalpa in 2004 after leaving an orphanage up on the north coast of Honduras.   They had moved into that orphanage as young boys when both of their parents died of disease.  When Oscar moved into the Micah House in 2005, Hauner continued to live with his aunt in the Micah Project neighborhood.   The Micah Project gave him a scholarship so that he could begin his high school education.  In 2009, Hauner is 19 years old and a junior in high school.
