| Edwin grew up in an orphanage and did not know anyone in his family until 2005. That year, he was able to find his grandmother and visit her home in a mountainous village called Corralitos. Since then, Edwin is able to see his grandmother often! Above, Edwin hugs his grandmother in her humble home. |

| Edwin came to the Micah Project in April, 2001 from another orphanage. Edwin lived in that program for six years before joining the us. He is one of our most creative boys! He is talented in both art and music, and is developing both by taking drawing classes, drum lessons and singing in the Micah house choir. Edwin is studying at the eleventh grade level in 2004. | When our dental team came to Honduras in February 2004, Edwin worked as a dental assistant. Could this mean a future career in medicine? Actually, he seems more interested in architecture, where he can put his excellent art and math skills to good use! |
