Above: In late December, Miguel celebrated his 18^th birthday! Since his birthday is on Christmas eve, everyone was in a festive mood!

Above: Christmas day at the Micah house! Olvin, Tino, Oscar and Danilo receive their first ever stocking! If they look tired, that’s because they opened their presents at 12:30 a.m. on Christmas morning!

Above: The Micah boys had turkey for Christmas dinner. They managed to do away with a 25 pound bird in about thirty minutes. Here, Darwin and Cheetah squabble over who gets the leg!

Above: On January 5, Darwin (white cap) left the Micah Project after living with us for two years. He is starting a new life at a University called Zamorano. The boys had a going away party the night before in order to say good-bye to their older brother! Here, Tino gives Darwin a parting hug.

Above: This is Darwin on his first day at Zamorano! Most of the boys made the hour long trip with us in order to help Darwin (white cap_ get settled into his new dorm. It is an exciting time for him! Zamorano is one of the best educational institutions in Latin America! See our scholarship page for more information.

Above: Matt Darr moved to Honduras on January 5 to take over things at our new Leadership House! Matt has many exciting plans for the boys who will be moving into the house in February. Here, Matt sits in a chair in his new apartment at the Leadership house. As you can see, we still have some work to do!
