Christmas has come to Honduras in full force! Tegucigalpa's main boulevards are beautifully decorated this year. The main attraction was this giant light display depicting Joseph, Mary and baby Jesus. Here, the Micah boys and friends pose in front of that display!

On December 19, the boys participated in a Christmas banquet sponsored by their church. The Micah Project chorale presented two typical Christmas songs, to the delight of the crowd! Above, they sing a song called "Let's Celebrate"! Below, choristers David, Jose, Darwin, Edwin and Danilo pose for a picture after the performance.

Since the boys are on school vacation until late January, they have been involved in various activities in their free time. Twice a week, they practice martial arts with a teacher that comes to the Micah house. Here, Danilo (left) and Edwin get ready to spar!

The boys have also been involved in a Christmas soccer tournament that was planned by Micah employee Roger (white shirt, being sat upon by Edwin). Our team came in first place, and Danilo (blue, sweaty shirt) got the metal for the most goals scored.

The other main activity for the boys in December has been the remodeling of the Leadership House. They are working five days a week to try to get the house ready to go for 2004! Here, David (blue shirt) and VLM teen Marcos place the new ceiling beams on the house!

December is also a month of good-byes for the Micah Project. Becca (middle) and Lauri (right) are both returning to the States after two years of service to the Micah Project. Both young women had a tremendous impact on the Micah boys and the other people to whom they ministered in Honduras. They will be sorely missed! It is our prayer that God will continue to bless them as He opens new doors in life and ministry. Erin (left) is staying in Honduras for a third year. Gracias, Becca y Lauri por su amor y servicio en Honduras!
