November is the last month of school for Honduran students!  In this picture, Jarvin, Marvin, and neighbor Jorge struggle through a physics problem about momentum with the help of teacher Michael.  Actually, I think they are really calculating how many days of school they had left!

In November, an unknown gentleman pulled up to the Micah house and donated a complete set of new soccer uniforms!  He knows the most direct way to a Honduran boy's heart!  Here, the boys debut the new uniforms.  Top row:  Jose, Jerson, Edwin, Fredy, Nelson (neighbor); Bottom row: Pedro, David, Tony, Darwin, Eric

The boys worked very hard to make beautiful woven bracelets to sell at the Advent Missions Marketplace at the First Presbyterian Church in Houston.  Each intricate bracelet was unique and required several hours of work!  Here Jerson (foreground) and Tony (background) concentrate on a bracelet.

Saturday in Tegucigalpa is market day!  Here Oscar (left) and Darwin Pavon buy some tomatoes at the sprawling farmers' market.

The Micah Project's ministry in the city dump continued in November.  Here, Edwin leads an activity with some of the children who work at the dump.

The remodeling of the Leadership House was a main focus in November!  Here, Pedro (foreground) and Tony work to plaster the interior walls of the house.  Pedro worked very hard until he fell off the roof and fractured his collar bone!  Now he knows what people mean when they say that a project cost them "blood, sweat and tears"!

David was the third Micah boy to turn 19!  It is our tradition at the Micah Project to have the other boys say encouraging words to the birthday boy.  It is always one of our most meaningful times as a family.  Above, David is looking very encouraged!
