Recent and Ongoing Projects in Villa Linda Miller

| In 2006, work began on a clinic in the Villa Linda Miller community. A group of faith-filled people that have come to Honduras for several years to support the Micah Project and other organizations took on this daunting project. They formed the Honduras Dental Project (click on the name to see their website), a non-profit organization dedicated to building Clinica Arlene and overseeing its operation. The clinic is scheduled for completion in the summer of 2007.

Richard Jones, left, from Dallas Texas, spent several weeks in Villa Linda Miller in 2006 to help supervise the construction of the clinic. Every family in VLM pitched in to help get the building started! |

| A group of high school
students from the Central Presbyterian Church in St. Louis comes to Honduras
every year to support the Micah Project and the Villa Linda Miller
community. In 2006, they built the first two classrooms of the VLM
elementary school (above). In 2007, they came back to build the
bathroom facilities for the school (pictured below in April 2007).
Eventually, the school will have seven classrooms, an administrative
building and a playground.
