| Above: Cristino entered an orphanage in Tegucigalpa when he was 12 years old, after escaping from another orphanage in a rural area. He is originally from the north coast of Honduras. |

| This is a photo of Cristino in 1999 when he was 14 years old and still living in another orphanage. In 1999, he was able to graduate from the sixth grade. He has always gotten good grades in school, despite missing a couple of years of school as a child. |

| Cristino lived in two different orphanages before joining the Micah Project in 2000. Now 18, Cristino is a friendly boy with an easy smile. He is a very good student; he always tries to get a hundred percent on his exams! He especially loves to study computers, and is taking a computer course every afternoon in order to become a computer programmer. In 2003, Cristino has been helping with the Micah Project website. He also participates in the Micah house choir and is a very good recorder player! He is known for his encouraging words and brotherly hugs! The above photo was taken in January, 2002. |
