Above: Jerson graduated from high school on November 10, 2007.  We are very proud of him!  He is interested in studying dentistry at college in 2008!

Jerson takes a moment to smile for a photo on the Leadership House roof in December 2006.  Jerson completed his junior year of high school in 2006 and will soon be graduating from high school!

Jerson (far right) has been a part of our programs since we opened in January 2000, although this is the first year he is a resident in the Micah House.  Jerson was raised by his grandmother after his father died in 1999.  He helped his grandmother by selling tortillas and running other errands for her.   In 2003, Jerson has been studying in our educational programs at the seventh grade level.  In August 2003, he joined us as our fifteenth resident at the Micah House!  Above, Xavier, Olvin and Jerson pose in their Boy Scout uniforms in 1999.

Jerson has grow up a lot over the past few years in the Micah Project.  He has become a great leader in the house and enjoys writing songs to express his growth.  Here he shouts "I am the king of Tegucigalpa!" as he overlooks the city.
