Brayan Chavez Biography

Brian Chavez graduated from high school in November 2010.  In 2011, he has been working for a local business in Tegucigalpa while he discerns his future.  He lives in the Timothy House and is truly a mentor to our younger guys.  Their favorite activity is to spend an afternoon with Brian so that he can help them record a new song!  Above:  Brian in his room at the Timothy House in January 2011.  Below:  Brian sings with Axelito and Miguelito at an event to mark the International Day of the Street Child in April 2011.

Brian Chavez officially joined the Micah Project in February 2010, but he has been a friend for much longer.  We first met him when the Micah Project formed a brotherly relationship with the Manuelito Project, where he grew up.  Last year, he studied in our home schooling program as a junior in high school.  In 2010, he moved into the Leadership House so that he can finish his high school studies and begin college.
