Beautiful Honduras
| Normally, our website highlights our ministries here in Honduras. Often, you see pictures of unspeakable poverty as we talk about our efforts in the city dump and on the streets of Tegucigalpa. But, Honduras is a country of great contrasts. Those scenes of poverty are played out amongst breathtaking beauty. Thanks to friends who have recently visited the Micah Project, especially Mark Griggs and Jeff Early, who visited Honduras on separate trips in January 2008, we have recently been able to capture glimpses of that beauty on film. We hope that you will fall in love with this country as much as we have after seeing this photo series, which we have entitled Beautiful Honduras. |

| Beautiful faces. This woman makes her home in the market district of Tegucigalpa. Despite her poverty, the deep lines of her face and her bright smile speak of a life well lived. I have to say, I love her all the more because of the Metallica ski cap!!! ~ Mark Griggs |
