Arle's Photo-biography

 

Arle is the younger brother of Jarvin and Darwin.  Arle had lived in an orphanage since he was three in the city of San Pedro Sula before coming to live in the Micah Project in January 2006.  Arle made the decision to leave the project in early 2009.  In 2010, we helped him to enroll in a vocational boarding school called El Sembrador.

Above:   This picture, taken in January 2006, is the first day we met Arle and picked him up from his orphanage in San Pedro Sula in order to bring him to Tegucigalpa to join the Micah Project.  Here, Arle stands with his older brother Jarvin.

 

Not only did Arle reunite with his brothers when he joined the Micah Project in 2006 but he gained 18 more!  Here Pedro shows some brotherly love with Arle.

 

Below: Arle joined swimming classes in the spring of 2006 and is learning so fast!  Here he is taking a breather after a long lap of kicking.

Here Michael poses with Arle in February 2008 at the top of Tegucigalpa where the Picacho statue stands.  Arle had only been with the project for a month when this picture was taken.
